- The General Authority of Customs announced on Wednesday that it had foiled the smuggling of two trucks loaded with hemp material of Iranian origin, hidden under a layer of vegetables in Al Shalamjah port.
The Authority said in a statement to the news agency that the concealment of any article and the declaration of a different material with the customs authorities is considered a customs crime, which is charged by the Customs Act No. 23 of 1984 amended.
She added that all legal procedures have been taken against the owner of this shipment in accordance with the instructions and controls stipulated in accordance with the rules.
