The head of the Committee on Foreign Relations Representative Abdel Bari Zebari, on Sunday, the doubling of intelligence work between Iraq and Syria during the last period, pointing to the arrest and killing of a group of leaders of the "Da'ash" criminal as a result of that cooperation.
"The Iraqi intelligence services have intensified their cooperation with the Syrian intelligence in the past months," Zebari said in a statement. "This cooperation resulted in the killing and arrest of dozens of leaders of the first line of Daash on the Syrian-Iraqi border."
He added that "any intelligence or military cooperation between the two countries will be reflected positively on the national security of the country and the stability of the internal security situation and prevent the infiltration of dawns before they reach the Iraqi border."
