A member of the Board of Commissioners of the Electoral Commission for elections, Saeed Kakaee, on Wednesday, there is suspicion and breaches on the preliminary results of the elections, while noting that the Commission rejected a request submitted to re-counting of 25% of the results.
"There are doubts and breaches about the results of the primary elections," Kakai said in a press conference. "The Commission's procedures have created a great skepticism among the candidate blocs regarding the integrity of the elections."
Abizaid said, "I suggested to the Commission to the manual counting and counting of 25 of the results, but rejected because of some political pressure," stressing that "the refusal of the Electoral Commission for calls sorting and counting manual violates its law."
He called on the members of the Commission to "respond to the complaint and request entities and handed over electronic pictures of the ballot papers."
The Independent Electoral Commission revealed earlier today that the member of the Board of Commissioners Saeed Alkakai threatened to kill him and his family from one of the political parties affected by the election results, and forced him to resign or appear in the media for the purposes of that political party.[/ltr]
