Gold is trying to recover from a five-month low 7979

Gold rose on Thursday as the dollar continued to recover after hitting its lowest level in five months yesterday, as the dollar dominated the market.
The US dollar fell slightly today after hitting its highest level in five months in yesterday's session against major currencies, which helped gold to try to recover from the lowest levels.
The strength of the dollar forced the commodity to retreat, especially in light of the lack of clarity in the trend in the markets and increasing demand for the US dollar in the current period with stability in economic data from the United States of America.
On the other hand, equity markets have been stable, with no specific direction, which has helped to slightly recover demand for gold as an alternative investment, but negative pressure remains.
Gold prices traded at $ 1292.56 an ounce after hitting a low of $ 1289.61 an ounce and opened today's session at $ 1290.12 an ounce, reaching a high of $ 1294.40 an ounce.
