Low US inventories raise oil prices
Oil prices rose on Thursday, after official data showed a decline in crude stocks in the United States.
The data released by the Energy Information Administration in Washington on Wednesday revealed a decline in US oil inventories, by 1.4 million barrels, to 432.4 million barrels last week, contrary to the data of the American Petroleum Institute (preliminary).
Brent crude for July delivery rose 0.10 percent, or 15 cents, to $ 79.43 a barrel by 0535 GMT.
US crude futures for June delivery rose 0.28 percent, or 20 cents, to $ 71.69 a barrel.
US crude oil production rose to a new record high of 10.723 million bpd last week, from 10.703 million barrels in the previous week.
