Oil prices fell during trading on Wednesday on the back of US data indicate that crude oil inventories in the United States rose significantly last week.
By 09:40 am Moscow time [06:40 GMT] US crude fell, "the price of West Texas Intermediate" 1.13% 60 cents to $ 52.38. Whereas, the price of a barrel fell combination "Brent" global 1.08% amounted to 60 cents to $ 55.12.
American Petroleum Institute "API" Data show that crude stocks in the United States surged by 4.7 million barrels during the week ending 9 December / Dissembraljari.
The data showed that gasoline stocks rose by 3.9 million barrels. Later on Wednesday, the US Energy Department released official data for stocks.
This decline comes after an unprecedented jump in oil prices earlier in the week, after reaching "OPEC" and the other producers to the first agreement since the year 2001 as a joint to reduce production in order to curb oversupply and support markets.
The agreement provides for an "OPEC" to cut its oil output by 1.2 million barrels per day to the level of 32.5 million barrels a day. It also requires that the producing countries from outside the organization to reduce the size of its oil production by 600 thousand barrels.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of "OPEC", Mohammed Barkindo, Tuesday told "Novosti" that the organization expects to join more oil-producing countries from outside "OPEC," to the agreement.
