Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi said he opposes the re-election of May 12 parliamentary elections.
Abadi added that the government and the parliament can not take a decision on the re-election, pointing out that the Supreme Court is the decision in this regard.
The Iraqi parliament has demanded a recount of the votes manually, after suspicions of fraud.
