[rtl]The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has announced that the fighting in Hodeidah in western Yemen has caused a catastrophic situation and that tens of thousands of civilians are expected to leave the city in the coming days.[/rtl]

[rtl]"The civilian population is under tremendous pressure," the committee said in a statement. "Instead of celebrating Eid al-Fitr with families, people are seeking food and fuel for fear of the blockade."[/rtl]

[rtl]The International Committee of the Red Cross has confirmed earlier that the recent military offensive launched by the alliance of Saudi aggression towards the port of Hodeidah would worsen the humanitarian situation worse, especially that the population "already reached a state of extreme exhaustion."[/rtl]
