The Cabinet voted on Wednesday to facilitate the implementation of the law of seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable property of the former regime no. 72 of 2017.
"The Cabinet held its regular session under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi," Ebadi's office said in a statement received.
He added that "the meeting witnessed the vote on the draft instructions to facilitate the implementation of the law of seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable property belonging to the pillars of the former regime No. 72 of 2017.
He explained that "the Council voted on the instructions to form a committee to exempt the housing housing for those covered by the law of seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable property belonging to the pillars of the former regime No. 72 of 2017 and mechanisms of its work."
