Japan's ambassador to Iraq, Akira Indo, announced that Japan has provided soft loans to Iraq for reconstruction of 6.7 billion dollars.
"The Japanese government is participating in the e-government project in Iraq through cooperation with the World Bank," Indo said during the e-government workshop, which was attended by "Economy News". "Japan has started supporting Iraq to achieve sustainable development as a stable country, "He said .
"Japan supports the development of human resources and institutional reform to improve administrative policies," he said, adding that " building an e-government will provide citizens with ease and convenience, simplify the administrative system and increase transparency through the use of information and technology . "
He pointed out that "ensuring transparency and simplification of procedures in Iraq will contribute to attracting foreign investment," adding that "Japan provided soft loans to Iraq for the reconstruction of infrastructure worth $ 6.7 billion."
