Iraqi prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki and prime minister of Kurdistan region, Nechirvan Barzani, agreed on a settlement regarding all outstanding issues between the region and the central Iraqi government.
On Wednesday, Iraqi prime minister met KRG prime minister to discuss the outstanding issues between the region and center. It has been reported that the two sides have come to some sort of settlement after the meeting.
Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday noon, on the head of a delegation consisting of Deputy Prime Minister, Imad Ahmed, and a number of ministers, specialists and advisors to discuss outstanding issues between the Center and the Region.
Meanwhile, the cabinet also announced settling discussion on the draft Budget Law for the year 2014, after concluding talks with Kurdistan Region’s delegation.
