Baghdad Municipality confirmed on Saturday that the Baghdad metro project needs five years to complete.
"The completion of the project in terms of designs and plans since last year and handed over to the higher committees to refer the project to a company," said the spokesman of the Secretariat Hakim Abdul-Zahra told the news agency that "the Secretariat has already invited the ambassadors of a number of Western countries and the National Investment Commission to nominate A number of companies to enter as competitors to complete this project.
