The legal expert Ali al-Tamimi, on Monday, that the session of parliament on Tuesday, contrary to the Constitution because it is based on the violation of a constitutional, likely to postpone the meeting to another notice in order to resolve the presidential candidate.
Al-Tamimi said in a statement to the information that the meeting of the House of Representatives for tomorrow, based on the violation of the Constitution, because the head of the age was better to resolve the first meeting without delay, and therefore a session contrary to the Constitution.
He added that "the election of the President of the Republic must be resolved before reaching October 3, because article 72 of the Constitution set a period of one month to resolve the nomination of personalities and the selection of the President," likely "to postpone the session of Parliament scheduled to be held tomorrow, and will resolve the post of President of the Republic during the next session "He said.
And Tamimi, that "the candidate for the presidency of the Republic must get two thirds of the votes within the parliament in order to be president of the Republic, where it will resolve between the entities by consensus."
He stressed that "the selection of the President of the Republic stipulates that he must have a university degree and his age is more than 40 years and fair as it is not required to be pregnant more than a nationality in accordance with Law No. 8 of 2012 unlike other positions." Ending / 25 n
