BAGHDAD / The MP of the Fatah Alliance, Uday Awad, on Thursday, that the success of any government begins to resolve the crisis in Basra and make it a priority, stressing the need to hold the first meeting of the Council of Ministers in Basra to address their problems.
Awad said in a statement that "the government of outgoing Prime Minister Haider Abadi failed to manage the crisis of the province and did not provide anything despite all the promises made."
He called on Prime Minister designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi that "Basra is the first concerns and that his ministerial program contains effective solutions to the province," stressing the need to "include the budget of 2019 all the rights of Basra province of petro dollars and the share of the province of border crossings and others."
He added that "the Prime Minister-designate in the event of the formation of his government to hold the Council of Ministers in its first meeting in the province of Basra to resolve all problems and remove obstacles and live with its people."
"The success of any government starts from the province of Basra because it is Iraq's economic city." Finished
