Revealed a leader in the Fatah Alliance, on Monday, the existence of an agreement between all the leaders of the coalition on the formation of the new Iraqi government, headed by Adel Abdul Mahdi.
"All Fatah leaders agreed to give full freedom to the Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi in the selection of his cabinet," said the leader of the alliance Ahmad al-Hassani.
"This is the first time that gives a prime minister such a freedom to choose his ministers, and this will be an important factor for the success of Abdul Mahdi during the next stage," he said, noting that "most blocs gave this freedom to the prime minister-designate,
Barham Salih and Fur were sworn in as president of Iraq on Tuesday evening (October 2, 2018), the former leader of the Supreme Council, Adel Abdul Mahdi, to form the new government, as a "compromise" candidate.
Abdelmahdi began his consultations with the political blocs to form the next government to meet leaders of political blocs and held advanced talks on the composition of the government, which is expected to be formed before the end of the constitutional period set by 30 days.
