The Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi, trying to convince the political blocs to facilitate his mission, and not to put further obstacles, amid assurances that the possibility of announcing the cabinet reshuffle next Saturday.
According to an Iraqi politician involved in the negotiations to form a government, "some political blocs submitted the names of candidates to the Prime Minister-designate, but there are ongoing consultations on ministries and sites, whether sovereign and service."
The source said in a statement to Asharq Al-Awsat, asking not to indicate his name or identity, that the blocs reach by Wednesday (Wednesday) an agreement on the list of final names of the candidates, to be submitted to the Prime Minister, who is expected to announce the formation on Saturday.
The source said that a number of ministerial sites may remain vacant before the next parliamentary session, which was submitted to another notice (scheduled for next Monday), which means holding them with the completion of the government formation or the survival of vacant positions until the end of the month.
On the issue of whether things are going smoothly between the blocks, the Iraqi politician said that "negotiations difficult this time for various reasons; most notably the issue of the electronic window announced by Abdul Mahdi to choose ministers online; this story planted the seeds of doubt within many of the political blocs, The declaration of certain blocs gave the prime minister the power to choose ministers outside the quota, which is not quite clear, in addition to pressure on the Sunnis and Kurds to accept the formation of the government regardless of their demands or benefits.
