The Digital Media Center on Wednesday stressed the need to activate the legitimate digitization of all the joints of the state in the coming period, pointing out that this enters Iraq in the digital age in full, and reduce administrative corruption.

"The government's digitalization program, presented by Prime Minister-designate Adel Ali al-Mahdi, should be done without bureaucratic obstacles or opposition to those who do not understand the importance of the program or who are benefiting from the current underdevelopment in the administration," the center's team said in a statement. Some government works, which lead to the failure or disable the process of digitization. "

"Iraq has spent millions of dollars on the e-governance project after 2003," the center said, adding that "the project did not do right because of the bureaucracy that controls most of the joints of government work."

"The choice of a professional, professional and management minister and an open mentality for the communications portfolio will greatly facilitate the process of transformation that serves the citizen in his day-to-day operations," he said.

The center stressed the importance of using specialized cadres to train state employees and in the various ministries on the mechanisms of digitization and its tools and forming a nucleus in each ministry for this purpose.

He added that "attention to cybersecurity and the enactment of a law on censorship or cybercrime, doubling the capacity and speed of the Internet, the use of clear timetable terms and rapid action, as contained in the government program, will be a motivation to complete these tasks in a realistic manner."
