    The deputy for the province of Basra, Abdul Aoun Allawi, on Thursday, that Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi promised to implement the demands of the people of Basra, especially the decisions made by Abadi before he left power, indicating that the budget will contain degrees of employment will enable Basra to get its share of these grades.
    Allawi said in a statement to the media that "Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi met with the deputies of the province of Basra in Baghdad, where all deputies discussed what happened in Basra of demonstrations, especially as it was renewed yesterday."
    He added that "discussions with Abdul-Mahdi came against the backdrop of failure to implement the demands made by the people of Basra to former Prime Minister Haider Abadi, who promised to implement, but he did not, and today, Abdul-Mahdi promised to resolve the demands and implementation."
    Allawi said that "the federal budget for the year 2019 will be the degrees of functional compensation and within the movement of owners and the installation of contracts, where he addressed this issue with the Prime Minister, who promised and give a word to implement the people of Basra." End 25 n
