The burial of the body of former US President George HW Bush will take place in the grounds of the university library bearing his name, the University of College Station, Texas, said.
"President Bush will be buried in a plot of land owned by his family, near the Bush Library, along with his wife Barbara, who died seven months ago and his daughter Robin, who died in 1953," the agency quoted a university administration as saying on its official website. .
"The students, teachers and staff of the university will be able to see Bush's funeral, but his funeral will be closed to the public. All campus buildings will be closed on the day of the funeral. "
Bush was the president of the United States between 1989 and 1993 and served as director of Central Intelligence (1976-1977) and vice president (1981-1989).
