MP for the coalition building Mohamed Karim Baldawi, on Thursday, that democracy "broke" in the session of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, not the quorum, considering it the beginning of "breaking and cracking" in the legislative institution.

Al-Baldawi said in an interview for Alsumaria News that "there is a lot of talk that was put on breaking the quorum in the parliament session on Tuesday, but what actually happened that the quorum was complete, but what broke is democracy in Iraq ," adding that "what happened from chaos in the parliament Reflected a negative situation and the transfer of an unwanted message to the Iraqi street, which was waiting to complete the government cab and the continuation of the implementation of the government curriculum and the provision of services long-awaited.

Al-Baldawi added that "what happened is the beginning of breaking the legislative institution, which is the protection and maintenance of the system and the law which is watching the rest of the institutions." He went on to say that "what happened was unfortunate that we did not hope for and should be found ways to prevent recurrence under any circumstances "He said.

The blocs affiliated with the Alliance for Reform and Reconstruction boycotted the session of parliament held on Tuesday (November 4, 2018), to complete the vote on the candidates of eight ministries left by the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi .
