    The Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi discussed with US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry in Baghdad the development of relations between the two countries in all fields, especially in the fields of energy, oil and economic files. 
    "The stability of Iraq after the defeat of the dues provides a great opportunity for the work of international companies and stimulate investment activity in all Iraqi provinces," Abdul Mahdi said, according to a government statement. 
    For his part, the US Secretary of Energy, his country's support for the Iraqi government in all areas and its orientation to promote stability and reconstruction of Iraq and the development of the economy, especially in energy projects and its willingness to contribute to the development and support sectors of electric power and oil in accordance with the plans and directions and priorities of the Iraqi government. 
    The US Energy Secretary is accompanied by a delegation of about 50 business leaders and officials.
