The member of the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary, Thursday, that the candidate Hisham Darraji favorite and closest to win the position of the Ministry of Defense session Tuesday after the insistence of the Sunni blocs to reject Faisal Jarba.
"The Sunni blocs insist on rejecting the candidate Iyad Allawi, Faisal al - Jarba for the post of the Ministry of Defense and confirmed not to vote for him," member of the committee Abbas Ismaili said.
He added that "Sunni blocs nominated and unanimously by the nomination of Hisham Darraji for the post of Ministry of Defense," asserting that "Darraji is the most likely vote Tuesday session."
He added that "there are unconfirmed leaks stating the existence of a preliminary consensus to exclude Fayadh from the Interior Ministry and the nomination of one of the ministers' agents for the post of minister and submit it during Tuesday's session."
