    The U.S. delegation also discussed the current development of shale gas resources and its impact on international markets.
    For its part, the United States expressed its continued support for the energy sector in Iraq is committed to the holding of workshops and technical assistance based on the success of previous programs, including the definition of about 230 of the principal architects and managers in the Ministry of Electricity in Iraq at the best practices in the field of security, operations and maintenance and safety related to energy .
