Saleh to German Foreign Minister: Iraq has become an attractive arena for companies and foreign investments

The President of the Republic Barham Salih said Tuesday that Iraq has become an attractive arena for foreign companies and investments, especially after achieving the final victory over "Da'ash", pointing out that Iraq is rich in human resources and competencies.
Saleh said during a meeting with German Foreign Minister Haikou Mas and his accompanying delegation, according to a presidential statement received by a copy of the statement that "Iraq is rich in resources and human efficiency, and needs to establish the foundations of real partnership with the rest of the world to promote the economic reality of the country."
He added that "Iraq is now an attractive arena for foreign companies and investments, especially after achieving the final victory over the gangs of terror advocates, security stability and political openness to its regional and international environment." He stressed Iraq's desire to develop friendly relations with Germany.
Saleh stressed the need for bilateral coordination between Iraq and the European Union to ease tensions in the region and support Iraq in its quest for reconstruction and stability, praising the "good positions of the German government and its support for Iraq in the face of terrorism within the international coalition.
For his part, the German foreign minister stressed "the keenness of his government to provide support and support to Iraq in all fields, and its earnest desire to work to consolidate the foundations of friendship and cooperation." Ending / 25
