considered the French Defense Ministry, on Friday, the decision by US President Donald Trump to withdraw from Syria as a "fatal very wrong," pointing to the elimination of "Daesh" task is not over yet, as described US Secretary of Defense James Mattis , who announced his resignation from His position yesterday as "a great jingle and a partner for all occasions." 

French Defense Minister Florence Barley said in a statement quoted by the agency "Reuters" that the decision of US President Donald Trump, the withdrawal of its military forces from Syria, is a decision "very serious."
"We do not share the same analysis that the Da'ad organization is over," she said, noting that President Trump's decision was "a very serious decision and we believe the mission must be done." 

She also praised US Secretary of Defense James Matisse, describing him as "a great soldier and a partner in all events." 

US President Donald Trump announced earlier on Friday that Matisse would retire by the end of February. 

"General Matisse will be retired by the end of February after two years of service in my government as defense minister," Trump wrote on Twitter. "The nomination of a new defense minister will be announced soon." 

The White House announced on Wednesday that the United States will withdraw its forces in Syria, saying that US forces have accomplished their mission to eliminate the organization "Daash" in Syria.
