Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow is working to reduce the impact of US sanctions on Iran

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Friday that Moscow would work to reduce the impact of US sanctions on Iran.
"We are working together to exert utmost efforts until Iran's positions are strengthened so that there will be no negative consequences from the new wave of foreign sanctions imposed again by a decision of the American administration," Ryabkov said during a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghji.
"The two sides will make every effort to ensure the implementation of the comprehensive joint action plan on the Iranian nuclear program, stressing the commitment of the Russian side to the plan in a sustainable manner."
"The task today is to ensure that the joint work plan on the nuclear program remains in place and seek to ensure Iran's economic benefits from this deal under conditions of strict pressure from US sanctions," the Russian deputy foreign minister said.
