The Prime Minister of the Vatican, Cardinal Pietro Barrolin, on Friday praised the victories of the security forces and the popular mobilization against the terrorist organization "Da'ash", stressing the need to lay the foundation for coexistence and stability in the liberated areas.
"The Vatican's Prime Minister, Cardinal Pietro Barrolin, visited today the Bartalla area in the Nineveh Plain and took part in the Mass which was held at the Church of St. Corcis of Syriac Catholics," said Major General Ahmed Al-Hatib in a statement.
Al-Shabt said that he met Cardinal Pietro Barolin on the sidelines of the Mass, where he welcomed his visit to Bartala, congratulating him on the occasion of the glorious Christmas. He pointed out that the Vatican's Prime Minister blessed the victories of the security forces and the popular crowd against the terrorist organization "Da'ash". Coexistence and stability in liberated areas.
Al-Shabab confirmed to His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Barrolin that the Popular Forces forces are protecting all components in the Nineveh Plain and Bartala district, pointing out that the visit gives support in order to establish coexistence and brotherhood between all components.
