Dubai's average price on the platts platform for pricing was $ 57.318 a barrel for December, its lowest level since October 2017.
Average crude oil prices for Oman and Dubai, respectively, are below $ 1 a barrel on average, traders said on Wednesday .
Middle East crude producers use these prices to set official selling prices for their ore every month.
Saudi Aramco has adjusted its pricing reference to set official selling prices for its crude to Asia starting in October. The benchmark price is the average price offered for Dubai crude on the Platts platform and Omani crude futures on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange.
The average reference price for official Saudi crude oil prices for Asia was set at December 2005 at $ 57.324 per barrel, based in part on the average price of $ 57.33 a barrel on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange in December.
