    [rtl]Direction / Continue[/rtl]

[rtl]The Vatican's Foreign Minister Cardinal Pietro Barrolin said that the current circumstances do not allow Pope Francis to visit Iraq, saying that what he called "the problem of terrorism" has not been resolved.  [/rtl]

[rtl]"Such a visit requires minimal conditions and is not available now," said the Vatican foreign minister who recently visited Iraq in an interview with Italian Catholic television TV 2000. "During his visit, he has the impression that the Baghdad authorities have confirmed that" the roots of the phenomenon The terror still exists. "[/rtl]

[rtl]"The problem of terrorism has not been solved," said Cardinal Barrolin.  [/rtl]

[rtl]But Cardinal Barrolin confirmed the pope's desire to go to Iraq and told the Vatican last Friday that "this will definitely lift the morale of the Iraqis to the difficulties they still have to face."[/rtl]

[rtl]The Pope is scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates in early February, the first visit by the head of the Catholic Church to the Arabian Peninsula. Talks about the possibility of visiting Iraq on the occasion were scheduled, and Abu Dhabi will be visited from February 3 to 5, a few weeks before a trip to Morocco scheduled for late March.[/rtl]
