    {International: Al Furat News} The Pope of the Vatican, Francis I, has confirmed that he will travel to Iraq tomorrow, Friday.
    Al-Ahbar Al-Azam said in a tweet on Twitter: "Tomorrow I will go to Iraq for a three-day Hajj trip. I have long wanted to meet this people who have suffered greatly."
    He added, "I ask you to accompany this apostolic visit with prayer, so that it takes place in the best possible way and bears the desired fruits."
    It is scheduled that Pope Francis I will start tomorrow, Friday, a historic visit to Iraq that will continue until next Monday, during which he will tour five provinces, including Najaf and meet the supreme religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, and he will also visit the ancient city of Ur in the Dhi Qar governorate, which includes a shrine and a home Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him.
