Lebanon decides to file a complaint with the Security Council regarding "Israeli aggressions"

The Supreme Council of Defense in Lebanon decided to lodge a complaint with the UN Security Council regarding "Israeli attacks" on Lebanese territory.
The Council considered after a meeting headed by Michel Aoun , that "what is happening on the southern border by the Israeli enemy army is an attack on Lebanese territory and in violation of UN resolution 1701."
He added that "it was decided to file a complaint to the Security Council in the Israeli violations, and to intensify Lebanon's diplomatic movement with the countries in the UN Security Council to explain Lebanon's position."
"Lebanon will complete the negotiation process to resolve border disputes and will ask the UNIFIL forces operating in southern Lebanon to shoulder their full responsibilities in implementing Resolution 1701 and maintaining the security of the Lebanese border," the statement said.
