Abu Dhabi The ENI consortium and PTTEP are awarded a contract to explore two maritime zones

said Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Saturday, it was awarded a consortium, comprising two Italian ENI and (Ba.ta.ta.aa.ba) Thai, held "exploration, development and production of oil and gas for two offshore Abu Dhabi" .
Eni will be the operator of the two regions and it and BTI will acquire 100 percent of the exploration phase, it said in a statement.
The two companies will invest at least $ 230 million in the exploration phase and ADNOC will have a 60 percent option in the production stage if a commercial discovery is made, it said.
