North Korea appoints new envoy for negotiations with US

North Korea on Wednesday appointed a new envoy for its negotiations with the United States ahead of a second summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump.
The new envoy is Kim Hyuk Chol, who served as North Korea's first ambassador to Spain until 2017, the South Korean news agency said.
The White House announced earlier that it was agreed to hold a second summit between Trump and Kim late next month, and that it would reveal its place later.
The US president and North Korean leader met for the first time in Singapore in June. Ending / 25
