(Baghdad: al-Furat News) The Iraqi and UAE foreign ministries held a meeting on the memorandum of understanding for political consultations between the two countries, at the headquarters of the ministry in Baghdad, on Sunday.
"The two sides discussed the opportunities of cooperation between the two countries in the political, security and economic fields, and support the efforts to reconstruct the liberated areas of the terrorist gangs, and stressed the statements made at the donor conference in Kuwait."
The Iraqi consultative team was led by the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry, Nizar al-Khairallah, with the participation of the Head of the Arab Department Ambassador Ismail Shafiq Mohsen. The delegation of the UAE Foreign Ministry headed the Assistant Foreign Minister and International Cooperation for Political Affairs, Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar.
