Deputy: Federal Government and the Council of Basra will challenge the budget

MP confirmed the province of Basra Charter Hamdi, Monday, that the federal government and the provincial council will submit an appeal to the Federal Court to challenge some paragraphs of the budget law 2019.
Al-Hamidi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that the objection of the Basra Provincial Council on the allocations approved for the province in the budget of 2019 because it will not meet the need to maintain the provision of basic services for the province and thus the Council will submit an appeal to the Federal Court.
She added that "the province will not get extra money, especially after the adoption of the budget because the court is considering only delete the paragraphs only and to have them in the tank or add money."
Hamidi explained that "the federal government will also resort to appeal for the purpose of deleting some paragraphs that were added by the House of Representatives, which included the addition of additional funds on the budget sent by the government to parliament," indicating that "the power of the House of Representatives is the transfer of funds from place to place, Has the authority to add money without the knowledge of the government.
