Reuters) - A mass grave in the Syrian city of Al-Baguz, which includes the heads of 50 women from the Yazidi faction, has been "shocked" by the news of a mass grave in the Syrian capital, calling for an intensification of intelligence efforts.

The bloc's spokesman MP Hamdallah Al-Rikabi said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "The parliamentary bloc of the Alliance are further shocked and deeply saddened by the heinous crime, which was revealed through the discovery of a mass grave in the Syrian region of Bagouz and included the heads of fifty women of the Iraqi component Yazidi Karim. "

"This crime clearly reveals the extent to which the Yezidi community has been subjected to injustice and aggression by this terrorist organization," he added.

"We at the same time express our deep sorrow and sincere condolences to the families of the victims. We stress the need to protect all Iraqi factions and to consolidate the concept of citizenship and reject any foreign culture that is trying to tear apart the social fabric of the Iraqi people."

Al-Rikabi called on the government to "intensify its intelligence efforts to uncover movements that support the latter and bring them to justice to receive their fair compensation to preserve the security, unity and social cohesion of the nation."
