    The launch of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, under the slogan "Building New Systems of Cooperation", was launched at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center on the shores of the Dead Sea.
    King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the Crown Prince, will inaugurate the forum with the opening speech at the main session. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich will speak at the same session. , Which is expected to be attended by about 1,000 government leaders, heads of companies and representatives of civil society from about 50 countries.
    In 32 sessions, participants will discuss several topics related to new standards of public education, geographical distribution of banks in the region, new health care platforms, investment in human resources and cyber risk management.
    Participants highlight globalization, the role of technology in the face of corruption, and shaping the future of tourism in Jordan. They also deal with peace and conflict in the region, new energy in the Middle East, prospects for the geopolitical situation, and developments in the fifth generation of communications.
    Other topics include water challenges in the region, the role of women in economic development, the importance of data, the future of smart cities, the redistribution of responsibilities and tasks in the region, the future of Islamic banking, solid waste management as a challenge in the region, , The design of modern industry, the revolution of emerging companies, and policies of financial inclusion.
    The sessions include general discussions on energy and natural resources in a number of Arab countries and gender equality, as well as discussing the status of the Middle East in the global context, Asia and Europe also in a global context.
    The two-day forum will be held in partnership with the King Abdullah II Development Fund and the World Economic Forum (Davos), in the presence of a number of international, economic, development and financial organizations.
