    BAGHDAD - 
    First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi on Monday announced the participation of parliament, civil society organizations, unions and federations an opportunity to participate in drafting laws. 
    A statement from the Office of Al-Kaabi received a copy of it that Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives received in his office today the President of the Union of Iraqi jurists Mohammed Noman Al-Daoudi and members of the Union, "noting that" Kaabi appreciated the role of the Union in highlighting the activity of an important segment within The administrative system of the State ". 
    The statement quoted al-Kaabi as saying that "Iraq is one of the leading countries in the establishment of unions and unions, as well as the adoption of laws governing them, as well as being the founder of the Union of Arab Jurists, and therefore must remain at the forefront of Arab countries and even global in the field of activity of these unions and its important role in All areas of life ".
    Al-Moabi stressed that "many of the old laws began under political systems based on one-party and centralization and the transfer of any civil or voluntary effort in their favor, but the new Iraqi constitution granted it the status of full independence and here it is important to review all laws to be appropriate and modern changes" . 
    Al-Kaabi said that "the current stage has been set to give all parties, whether civil society organizations, unions, federations, scientific and academic institutions or experts, an opportunity to participate in the drafting of laws and to show the opinion and propose amendment, it is important that the Union of Jurists have a distinct role as a group of experts In the field of law to study the laws to be legislated and show opinion.
