The Office of the Inspector General of Oil approves a comprehensive anti-corruption strategy

The Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Oil Hamdan Darraji, on Saturday, the adoption of a comprehensive strategy to fight corruption, stressing that it can stop the excess of public money and waste.
"The Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Oil has achieved many achievements at the level of planning and follow-up to address the corruption and irregularities that have been developed to face a comprehensive strategy and directly from the Inspector-General."
He added that "one of the most prominent achievements of the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Oil for the first semester of 2019 was to stop overflow of public money and waste, and the total fines received from the violations of distribution outlets by the Office for the first semester of 2019 for the western and southern regions only about one billion eight hundred And eighty-seven million six hundred and fifty-eight thousand and one hundred and seventy-seven dinars. "
The Office explained that "the total amounts recommended for recovery by the Office in the southern region of the first semester of 2019 of the South Oil Company more than three and a half million dollars, in addition to the recommended amounts to recover amounted to forty-three million dinars, for irregularities in the distribution outlets of oil products In the southern region. "
He pointed out that "the total fines as a result of irregularities to the distribution outlets for private stations and generators that were seized by the Division of the hot line for the province of Baghdad only amounted to more than ninety-seven million seven hundred and twenty-nine and two hundred and fifty thousand."
