Nassif said that "the inspectors of ministries are not entitled to intervene in executive decisions after the detection of corruption," noting that 'there are a lot of corruption files in several ministries and inspectors do not move a finger'.
"The inspector of the Interior Ministry can not intervene in the suspension of any contract suspected of corruption during the investigation," adding that 'the choice of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/113119/%D9%85%D9%81%D8%AA%D8%B4 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%AE%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A9]the Interior Inspector[/url] to participate in the Anti-Corruption Council stands behind political pressure'.
