The unveiling of the scenes of Abdul Mahdi's visit to Turkey revealed exciting details
2019/05/17 06:28:17
The head of the Iraqi-Turkish Friendship Association, Zafer al-Ani, revealed details of the recent visit of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to Turkey.
"Yesterday I participated in an official visit headed by the Prime Minister to Turkey," said Alani, who was part of the delegation. "I would like to offer you some of my unofficial and publishable views:
1. The visit was quick and did not take more than six hours. And we will come to Baghdad one at night, and you will ask, but twelve hours, I tell you that the rest of the time is the time spent by the plane on the trip, and you will ask why one o'clock I will answer to keep the fast fasting and not have to break the fast according to some doctrines especially as we are invited to a breakfast hosted by President Erdogan in honor of the Prime Minister , But I am I broke up and had to spend this day.
The delegation was informed of all the details where they stand, their sequence, their seating in the plane, where each of us put his own seat, the car number of each of us, the name of the person accompanying our embassy with each car, where the Prime Minister stands, Where pictures and other details are taken, and other precise details of specific times. All this was done in a small pamphlet distributed to the delegation, which makes me feel that protocol has improved considerably and that the team surrounding the prime minister knows very well.
3. In the course of the trip, the Prime Minister congratulated the members of the delegation one by one and passed on their seats and chatted with everyone so junior staff and held brief meetings throughout the trip with file officials from ministers.
4. The Prime Minister received a solemn official reception of class A, which includes the procession of horses and the twenty-one ties, although the Turks usually do not recognize this ceremony for prime ministers, but it is class B, but this happened with Iraq exception. My friends told me from Turkish officials that Sheikh Khamis Al-Khanjar He played this role in changing reception ceremonies, making sure that informal diplomacy sometimes played a role, at least in official efforts.
5. My participation in the delegation was because I am the head of the Iraqi-Turkish parliamentary friendship committee. I found the members of the friendship committee from the Turkish side waiting for me. We held an informal meeting on the sidelines of the visit. Some of the fruits of the visit were awarded to the Iraqis at the Turkish universities through the parliamentary friendship committee. Mr. President of the University Education Authority and the smart Ambassador of the People of Fateh Yilmaz.
6. The longest meeting was held between the two presidents and no one attended, and we have seen some of its results in the expanded meeting.
7. President Erdogan was friendly with the Iraqi delegation, and very frank in presenting the issues of his country and interests to reduce the small details as well as Mr. Iraqi Prime Minister.
8. I was surprised that Turkey is using Turkish carpets, not red, as opposed to international protocols, and why I asked why they said because the Turkish flag is a red color, and this national spirit was even greater, even if it was a bit exaggerated.
9. As part of the culture, the Turks have taken care of the rules of fitness and hospitality, including the fact that we have found an elegant pencil on our tables at the extended meeting. They have engraved each other's name in an elegant manner as a souvenir we kept. Small things leave a good impact on the soul and are sometimes more precious than big issues.
10. Iraq raised important issues, including: the security aspect and the position of the pkk, the issue of water cooperation, the launch of the visa for all Iraqis at the airport as it was previously, overcoming the problems of Iraqis in Turkey, raising the dimensions of trade exchange, inviting major Turkish companies to invest in Iraq, tension Regional impact in the region and its impact on both countries.
11. It was agreed to activate the Higher Coordination Committee headed by Erdogan and Abdul Mahdi, which has been stalled for years and will hold its fourth meeting in Baghdad within two months to sign the agreements to be prepared.
12. The breakfast was elegant and simple, and the Turkish food was very tasty, and the presentation was done in one style, as if the waiters were members of a military band.
13. After breakfast a group of religious figures came and listened to the mystical incantations that created a spiritual atmosphere that made our heads look like a prophet. After the completion, the two presidents took pictures with the musicians, the singers and their hosts in a friendly way.
14. When we arrived in Baghdad, the Prime Minister came down to us and stood waiting for us at the runway to shake hands with us one by one, to reflect a human touch and high refinement.
15. Most of what I liked in the visit was that it had no annoying bags, so we went to Khafafa and promised Khafafa. An acceptable reservation and a delicious breakfast, God willing.
