Agency: A meeting between Hafter and Trump in the White House

According to informed sources, Al-Mashir Khalifa Hafater, commander-in-chief of the Libyan National Army, received an official invitation to visit the United States mid-month.
The Italian agency reported that a source close to Haftar, who preferred not to be named, told her that the visit, which is expected to "be on June 18, will start a summit between US President Donald Trump and General Hafter at the White House, in the presence of Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo."
The source also revealed the agenda of the upcoming summit and said it would include a list of files including "combating terrorist organizations and organized crime in Libya, securing oil, classifying the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group, and supporting stability in the country."
Trump and Hafter will also discuss the internal arrangement of the house, including "the creation of appropriate conditions in Libya for holding comprehensive presidential and parliamentary elections, in preparation for a vote on a permanent constitution for the country."
