Committee member Alia Nassif said in a statement to the information, that "most of the members of the House of Representatives agreed to cancel the offices of general inspectors because they have become a link to the expansion of corruption and violation of the law," pointing out that "some inspectors interfere in the administrative work of the ministries, such as the Inspector of the Ministry of Interior Arrest and administrative orders. ”
She added that "the work of inspectors censorship and the non-expansion of corruption, but most of the inspectors are working at the moment to blackmail ministers to pass corruption deals," noting that "the new legislative chapter will take care of the abolition of the offices of inspectors and not to silence."
With regard to the interrogations and the replacement of a number of ministers, Nassif said that "Abdul-Mahdi will face a fateful test in the replacement of ministers who did not implement the government program and revolve around suspicions of corruption, administrative and financial," explaining that "the House of Representatives continues to question a number of ministers and hold accountable the government".
