    BAGHDAD - A
    high-level Lebanese government delegation headed by Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Batti will visit Baghdad next month for three days to discuss the economic issues between the two countries.
    "My delegation is headed by Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Batti will visit Iraq on the seventh of October," Abdel Wadoud al-Nsouli, head of the Lebanese Businessmen Association, told Mawazine News.
    He added, "The visit is part of the work of the Lebanese-Iraqi Joint Ministerial Committee."

    A high-ranking Lebanese government delegation headed by Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Batish will visit Baghdad next month to discuss the economic issues between the two countries.
    The visit comes as a continuation of previous official visits between Baghdad and Beirut, which culminated in the visit of the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri during the past months to Baghdad, and to discuss with Iraqi officials on many trade and economic files, as well as the two countries.
    The head of the Lebanese-Iraqi Businessmen Association, Abdul-Wadud al-Nsouli, said in a press statement that "a ministerial delegation headed by the Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Mansour Btaish will visit Iraq on the seventh of October next, a visit that comes within the work of the Lebanese-Iraqi ministerial committee." The delegation, which will include representatives of the private and governmental sector companies, will discuss over a period of 3 days with Iraqi officials trade, tourism, arbitration and related matters. Government and Cooperation ”.
    The arrival of the Lebanese government and trade delegation to Iraq is a result of the great openness achieved by the Iraqi government towards strengthening relations with the Arab and regional contexts, with the aim of achieving common interests.
    Nsouli expressed hope to activate the joint trade between the two countries through land routes through Jordan and Syria, after these roads were closed for the past period, and the arrival of only Lebanese goods through the ports of Basra.

    The arrival of the Lebanese government and trade delegation to Iraq is a result of the great openness achieved by the Iraqi government towards strengthening relations with the Arab and regional surroundings in order to achieve common interests.
     
    Al-Nsouli expressed his hope to activate joint trade between the two countries through land routes through Jordan and Syria, after these roads have been closed for the last period, and that the Lebanese goods are only accessible through the ports of Basra.
     
    For its part, the Committee on Economy and Investment in the House of Representatives welcomed this visit, usually a good step to present the investment opportunities between the two countries.
     
    "Iraq is a fertile ground for investment, especially after the security situation has improved in both the capital and other provinces," committee member Atwan al-Atwani told Sabah. "This contributes to attracting large companies and mobilizing the labor force."
