US, China to resume trade talks next week
Economy News - Baghdad
US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin said trade talks between the United States and China would resume next week in Washington, adding that the Trump administration had asked Chinese officials to cancel a visit to US agricultural areas.
Speaking to reporters next to President Donald Trump at the UN General Assembly in New York, Mnuchin said the cancellation of the trip to the farms "was at our request."
Both Mnuchin and Trump said China had pledged to buy large quantities of US agricultural goods.
