The International Coalition in Iraq announced on Thursday its participation in investigations targeting the Washington Embassy in Baghdad.
"Coalition forces are involved in the investigation into the firing of rockets into the Green Zone near the US embassy in Baghdad," said Col. Miles Cajens, spokesman for the International Coalition in Iraq.
"Iraqi forces are doing a great job of protecting foreign bases and coalition forces," she said.
He pointed out, "Iraqi security was a race in response to the attack, which took place in the vicinity of the US embassy," noting that "the coalition provides assistance and advice to Iraqi forces."
Earlier this week, the US embassy in the Green Zone was targeted by mortar bombs
