Halbousi: Iraqi patience is running out and a real revolution is needed

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi, that the patience of Iraqis ran out, and there is a need for "a real revolution," noting his support for the demonstrators and calling on the government to listen to their voice.
Halbousi said in a statement that the peaceful demonstrations, property and public facilities must be kept peaceful, while stressing the need to provide job opportunities for graduates.
The President of the Iraqi Council of Representatives that he is working to resolve the housing crisis through the construction of housing for low-income, and support the housing fund, pointing out that the state is working to resolve the housing crisis through three axes, while saying: "We confirm our support for the demonstrators and their demands."
Al-Halbousi stressed that the country needs a "real revolution" to fight the so-called "whales of corruption", calling for accountability of the corrupt and fighting the bureaucracy, explaining that the Iraqi people suffered from terrorism and corruption and "the patience of Iraqis ran out."
The speaker of the House of Representatives warned of the engineers who are trying to sabotage the Iraqi facilities built from the sustenance of the Iraqi people, pointing at the same time that the message of the demonstrators arrived.
Al-Halbousi called on Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to investigate the circumstances of the deaths during the demonstrations. He also called on the government to listen to the voice of the people and fulfill the demands of the demonstrators.
