Iraqi parliament holds an extraordinary session

The Iraqi parliament held a special session on Monday afternoon to discuss the demands of the protesters.
According to a statement by the Presidency of the Parliament, "in exceptional circumstances with the continued demonstrations now held its number (10) Monday, October 28, 2019 under the chairmanship of Mohammed Halbousi and the presence of his deputies Hassan al-Kaabi and Bashir mourning and the quorum is complete."
"The session is dedicated to discuss the demands of the demonstrators and the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the implementation of reform packages, as well as developments in the situation in the Iraqi street."
