    MP of the Union of Forces Mohammed al-Abed Rabbo, on Thursday, the determination of the House of Representatives to hold an extraordinary session on Friday.
     
    Abed Rabbo said that "mobility and contacts are underway for the purpose of holding an extraordinary session on Friday," noting that "there is a great possibility to hold this meeting."
    The MP from the Union of Forces that "the meeting in the event that was held will be dedicated to the obligation of the Council of the judiciary counting and counting by 100% in all of Iraq," stressing that "the meeting will not discuss the extension of the life of the House of Representatives."
     
    The House of Representatives failed to hold a special session on Thursday, June 27, 2018, to vote on the fourth amendment to the electoral law, which provides for the extension of its work beyond the constitutional date on 30 of this month, until the ratification of the Federal Supreme Court on the results of the elections last month.
     
    The speaker of parliament, Salim al-Jubouri, hinted earlier Thursday, to retreat from extending the life of the current parliament, saying: "If the House of Representatives did not vote on the first paragraph of the law of the fourth amendment to the election law, the Council will end its session next Saturday" .
