On Sunday, a deputy from the Saeron Alliance considered that the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, did not violate the constitution, "as some are trying to show to public opinion," calling on him to continue his "patriotic" positions and not to give in to pressure.

" The president of the republic did not violate the constitution, as some are trying to show to public opinion, " MP Amjad Al-Oqabi said in an interview with Alsumaria news, noting that "Article 76 of the constitution is clear and indicated that the president of the republic is mandated to nominate the largest bloc, and in fact the first session of parliament in its current session It was not named a bigger bloc. "

Al-Uqabi added, "The talk about naming a certain bloc as the largest is a clear fallacy and everyone knows that it is incorrect, just as the Iraqi people are more aware of this proposition," stressing that "the president of the republic is more powerful and patriotic than any party that wants to cross over the blood of the martyrs." The masses sacrifices to achieve narrow gains at the expense of the Iraqi people. "

Al-Oqabi called on the President of the Republic to "continue his national position and not bow to these pressures," stressing that " [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] its people are greater than all parties and positions, and we will all remain supportive of any steps that are in the interest of the people until change and reform are achieved."

The adviser to the President of the Republic, earlier, expressed his regret that some political forces want to make the tasks and powers of the President to be a postman to implement the content of Article 76 of the Constitution, and this is what reason and sound reason refuse from how to apply the provisions of Article 67 if it conflicts with the provisions of Article 76 of the constitution because the articles of the constitution complement each other, he said.

Article 67 of the Iraqi Store provides:

The President of the Republic is the Head of State and the symbol of the nation's unity, representing the sovereignty of the country, and he works to ensure adherence to the constitution, and to preserve the independence , sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.

Article 76 of the Iraqi constitution for forming a government states:
